This website respects your privacy

No need for an intrusive banner on the home page instructing you to accept cookies or leave.

Why? Because this website (https://yf.musicstudio.pro) does not create any cookie!

The only data we own is a connection log, but which would never allow us to identify you. (Your IP address may change and one IP address can be shared between several users.) This data is shared with no-one.

No advertising, no tracking website (G* Analytics and others do not belong here), no cross-scripting either. Images, videos and fonts are stored locally.

This website guarantees accessibility and respects Web standards

This website uses HTML5/CSS3 and all pages successfully pass the W3C validation test. It is designed to work on as many browsers as possible, with small size for pictures or stylesheets. We did a lot of testing but should you find something not working properly, please write to me.

The website has been tested under many configurations and with various browser versions, also mobile versions. It also works on older browsers. Should you experience problems, or if the pages do not display properly under certain configurations, I would be happy to fix it. Should that happen, please use the contact form.

The size of images and of HTML code is kept to a minimum, which is important for low-speed connexions (I care for mobile users who can be sometimes in zones with not-so-good coverage).

This site promotes free software and open standards

Bonus point for people who use free/libre browsers: Ogg Vorbis recordings are provided with DAT quality (48000 Hz). Otherwise, there are MP3 files. And a reminder: every song is licenced under CC-BY-SA 4.0 and can be freely downloaded and re-used.

Video clips are available as Ogg Theora, WebM (video as VP8 and sound track as Vorbis), and MPEG-4 AVC.

The defauls font is Open Sans, available under the Apache 2.0 licence.
